Coretta Jackson is an inbound marketing consultant, trainer and speaker. Coretta is passionate about educating non-profits, colleges and universities, faith-based, national and international organizations, and entrepreneurs about using the inbound (internet) marketing as an empowerment tool. Coretta is the principal Marketing Strategist of businessethos, a nimble digital media agency that delivers ethical, lean, strategic and green internet solutions.
Coretta works with emerging & large businesses, national & international organizations to enhance brand awareness and make a difference through leveraging ethical search engine optimization (SEO), social networking,blogging and mobile solutions. Coretta is passionate about taking grassroots marketing and traditional marketing to the next level and has been intrigued with the internet since 1999. Credentials
As an undergraduate student leader, Coretta double majored in Environmental & Business Economics and Africana Studies at Cook College-Rutgers University . She went on to secure a MBA in Marketing from Regis University’s School of Management and is currently pursuing a PhD in Organization & Management at Capella University.
Among other accomplishments, Coretta has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University and William Paterson University. In addition, she has served as a Douglas College- Rutgers University Global Village House Director. Coretta is an AmeriCorps Alumni and she was an engaged Obama Organizing Fellow for President Barack Obama’s Presidential Campaign.
Coretta has been providing financial education and advancement coaching for more than ten years. She has held her Series 7, Series 66 and her Life and Health Insurance Producer Licenses since 1999. She is a graduate of the 1999 Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Financial Advisor Training Program.
Coretta resides in Atlanta with her family.
